Our Mission
We support Chinese Adoptees across all stages of their Adoptee lifecycle through community, education, and advocacy. We center Adoptee voices and intentionally create spaces for everyone within the Adoptee constellation, building community among Adoptees and their chosen communities. By connecting our experiences to broader systemic structures of race, immigration, and class, we stand in solidarity with fellow Adoptee and allied communities, fostering healing, connection, critical thinking, and collective liberation.
Our Vision
We envision a world where Chinese Adoptees are fully supported throughout their Adoptee lifecycle, find healing, and flourish in solidarity with others, where true liberation is understood as inseparable from the liberation of all.
Our VAlues
- Adoptee-Centered: We center Adoptee voices, leadership, and lived experiences while welcoming adoptive parents into learning spaces that support—not shape—Adoptee identity.
- Community & Connection: We create social and educational spaces, both virtual and in-person, where Adoptees can build relationships, find belonging, and grow together, fostering healing and mutual support.
- Identity & Lifecycle Support: We support Adoptees across their entire lifecycle, ,recognizing that identity, needs, and questions evolve over time, and that healing is a continual process.
- Education & Critical Thinking: We provide learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, cultural awareness, and critical reflection about adoption, race, and diaspora experiences.
- Advocacy & Solidarity: We advocate for Adoptee rights, citizenship, and social equity, and we work in solidarity with fellow Adoptee, AAPI, and BIPOC communities to promote collective liberation.
- Integrity in Partnerships: We collaborate thoughtfully with Adoptee-led organizations and other organizations that are in alignment with our values, solidarity, and commitment to healing-centered community.
