WHO: This event is for all adoptees 18+ and Free for Members and $10 Non-Members!

About the Event:
For this event, we will be watching 5 short films produced by adoptees grappling with themes of adoption that were part of a broader collection of 10 short films presented live by the Adoptee Film Festival in November 2024. The Adoptee Film Festival, like the Chinese Adoptee Alliance, is a community-driven organization and we were honored to collaborate with them to make this event possible.
Ranging from stop-motion animation to a filmed visual letter from a daughter to their birthmother, we have chosen these 5 films because we believe them to be most impactful for our Chinese-adoptee community. These artists and filmmakers have dedicated time and love to these pieces so we hope you enjoy them! We will come together for a short reflection after watching these films.
