K-Pop Dance with Yejing Gu!
We are back this month with another joy-filled movement event for you all! Join us for an hour of K-Pop Dance instruction with Dance instructor Yejing Gu, via Zoom on Sunday, April 25th from 6:30PM- 7:30PM EST!
This event is open to all Adoptees, all ages are welcome. If under 13 years old, a parent or guardian is needed to join.
K-pop dance is essentially hip hop dance that is choreographed to K-pop music, which is a genre of popular music originating in South Korea. The K-pop choreography often includes the so-called "point dance," referring to a dance made up of repetitive movements that matches the characteristics of the lyrics of the song.
No equipment needed. All dance and fitness levels welcome; beginner, intermediate and advanced! You do not need any prior dance training or knowledge to attend this event.
Please reach out to us if you have any injuries or restrictions so we can let the instructor know so they can provide proper options for exercises.
Disclaimer: This is a physically active event. Please be aware of your limitations and go at the pace that feels right for you. Have water easily handy and make sure to stretch before and after the event to help prevent injuries.
