- To explore different thoughts, expectations, and outcomes.
- This is NOT about searching specifically.

There are 4 sessions in this series. They do not build upon each other, you are welcome to attend any individually, or all of them. There will not be recordings due to the personal nature of these discussions.
If you do want to invite others to join, please have them register independently. There will be a zoom waiting room and we will be checking names from registration.

Part 4: Fishbowl & Open Discussion
February 20, 3:00 - 4:30pm Eastern Time
This session is open to all and will focus on discussing what was presented as well as being a space for people to share their personal experiences, comments, or questions.
While there are no specific panelists for this discussion, we will have attendees participating with diverse perspectives including adoptees, social workers, and geneticists, who were not previous speakers.
The first part of this session will be breakout rooms, to create separate spaces for adoptees and for adoptive parent and supporters to share their thoughts among peers.
The second part of this session will be two fishbowl discussions, to create a shared space. In a fishbowl discussion, those inside the “fishbowl” actively participate in a discussion by asking questions and sharing their opinions, while those outside listen carefully to the ideas presented. We will have an adoptee fishbowl, then an adoptive parent and supporters fishbowl. This will be followed by open reflection, during which comments or questions about either of the fishbowls can be discussed.
