Hi Everyone!
Our Adoptee Board is excited to announce our adoptee Pen Pal Program! Our goal is to help connect adoptees through old-fashioned paper mail! Once you have submitted an application, we will pair you up with a pen pal to write a handwritten letter each month. We will email you monthly writing prompts to help start the conversation between you and your pen pal!
Applications Deadline: Friday, Dec 19th, 2020.
Pen Pal Program Duration: December 2020- May 2021
*Expectation is to send and receive a letter between you and your pen pal each month. Of course, this can continue past the program's duration if you and your pen pal would like to continue to stay in touch! *
Open to all ages & all adoptees, anywhere (US or international)!
You do not need to be a Chinese Adoptee to participate
We will do our best to match you by age and interests.
Those under 18 will need parental consent.
Please keep in mind, for those under 13 years old, we will try our best to match with someone close to the same age group but cannot guarantee.
If you would like to have a pen pal from another country, please understand that mailing from the United States to elsewhere is $1.20 for postage. A book of Global Forever stamps can be purchased for $12. You may also use three Forever Stamps.
You do not need to be a member of FCC to participate, but we strongly recommend considering a FCC membership to continue to stay connected with the FCC Adoptee community!
