The Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU, NYU Commuter Student Council, and NYU Student Resource Center will host a live viewing of Fresh Off the Boat, ABC’s new Asian American family comedy starring Hudson Yang as a young Eddie Huang (of Baohaus fame).
Doors will open at 7:30PM, snacks (pigs in blankets, among other American delicacies!) will be served, and the viewing will begin promptly at 8PM.
Stick around for a post-viewing conversation with Jeff Yang (Hudson’s dad, among many other things!), Jolene Hsu (NYU Student, Media, Culture, and Communication Studies), E. Alex Jung (Vulture), and E. Tammy Kim (Al Jazeera America).
