WHO: This event is for adoptees 18+ and Free for Members and Non-Members!

The event will not be recorded.

About the Event: 

Join us for an evening of reflection with the Chinese Adoptee Alliance! On Wednesday, January 15th at 7:30 p.m. ET, we will be hosting a Virtual Writing Workshop event, where we will be reflecting on everything from where we are now, our hopes and dreams, and what we wish we had known that we know now to exploring what we might say to our birth parents. We will be doing this through letter-writing, imagining we are writing letters to either our birth parents, our past selves, or our future selves. 

Participants should have a lined piece of paper (or if you would like, you can even bring a card and envelope and use that!) and preferably a pen – for in the pen’s permanence, we can find ourselves being honest while allowing ourselves to see and accept our mistakes or imperfections ;). There will be time during introductions to grab these materials if you forget.
