VIRTUAL Cooking & COmmunity: Mochi Mug Cake

Free for members and an optional donation for non-members
WHO: This event is for adoptees 15+ and open to both members and non-members!

About the Event:
Join us for an evening of culture and community with the Chinese Adoptee Alliance! On Monday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 pm, we’ll be hosting a Virtual Cooking & Community event, where we’ll create a quick and easy mochi mug cake (recipe provided here!) while exploring the rich history of mochi-making. In addition to enjoying this sweet treat, we’ll share an educational YouTube video and discussion questions to deepen our conversations.
Participants should provide their own ingredients (rice flour can be found at many grocery stores like Giant) and please prepare the mug cake before the event so we can all enjoy it together.

Refund Policy: For virtual events, tickets can be canceled and refunded 12 hours before the event start date/time. Cancellations after these time frames and no=shows will not be refunded. Tickets to non-CAA events cannot be refunded. This includes any event where the ticket price is not controlled by CAA. Such events will be made clear on the event page and tagged as ‘outside vendor’ events. Donations for events are not eligible for refund.
