Lunar New Year Note Decorating
and Support for Heart of Dinner
Adoptees ages 14 and up, please join FCCNY on Thursday, February 18th @ 7 PM EST as we come together for the Lunar New Year and decorate notecards together in support for Heart of Dinner! (Please bring markers, colored pencils, etc. to decorate with and pieces of paper/index cards of 7"x5"!)
What is Heart of Dinner?
"Heart of Dinner exists to combat food insecurity and isolation within NYC’s elderly Asian American community. We do this by delivering care packages of hot lunches and fresh produce every Wednesday, lovingly paired with a handwritten and illustrated letter in Chinese or Korean."* Check out this New York Times article to learn more!
How can you help out?
Adoptees 14+, please join us on Thursday, February 18th @ 7 PM EST and decorate notecards with us!
For families and children under 14, please feel free to create notecards at any time separate from our event as Heart of Dinner is always accepting notecards for their meals!
We also hope that you donate to their efforts if you are able through their website: https://www.heartofdinner.org/donate as they work to reach their goal of distributing 250k meals!

If dropping off locally (NYC):
Drop-off times are available Wednesdays between 12pm-2pm.
To find us at Essex Market, enter on Broome Street between Essex St & Norfolk St. Take the elevator or stairs up to the mezzanine floor.
While we can't be together in person, we are excited and grateful to come together as a community to celebrate the Lunar New Year and support Asian elders throughout NYC!
Registration will close 24 hours before the start of the event.
