FCCNY invites you to an evening of letter writing!
To whom? Well, that’s up to you! Miss an old friend or a faraway family member? Surprise them by sending some snail mail! Fired up about the current state of our political climate? Send a strongly worded letter to a local or state official!
Feeling introspective and want to set some intentions for the new year? Write a letter to the Universe or your future self! This is an opportunity to get whatever “words unsaid” that are floating through your head on paper and (if you choose to) sent out to those who need to read them! (We’ll even provide some writing prompts and guidelines to get your brain flowing!) Meet us from 6:30 to 8 PM on Wednesday January 23rd , grab a warm drink or snack, and get writing!
We will be at a public coffee shop on the Lower East Side near Union Square. *exact location will be provided upon registration at www.fccny.org*
Chinese Adoptees Ages 14+
We’ll have a limited amount of envelopes, pens, paper and stamps! (So we encourage you to bring whatever supplies you desire to write your letters!) We hope to see you there!
