WACA 2018 Chinese New Year Festival at SUNY Purchase, NY

After a well-attended event in 2017, the Westchester Association of Chinese Americans (WACA) will host its 2018 Chinese New Year Festival in the Performing Arts Center at SUNY Purchase College again. This is a great venue to host a county-wide event.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 2pm to 6pm at

For this Year of the Dog, the theme of the celebration is “Culture and Traditions of the Chinese New Year Festival”. It features in lion dance, art gallery, calligraphy, Chinese painting and hand crafts, as well as Chinese musical instruments performances, plus popular and delicious Chinese traditional food and snack samplings. On top of all these activities, there will be a formal program of artistic performances by the professional artists, the local art groups, and the professional acrobatics by a team from China.
