 Forever Families Weekend: Jewish Families Touched by Adoption
The eighth annual Forever Families Weekend for Jewish Families Touched by Adoption will run from June 3 - June 5, 2016 at Camps Nah-Jee-Wah and Cedar Lake in Milford, Pennsylvania.
Join other Jewish families touched by adoption for a weekend of community-building, recreation, education, and fun! Whether your family was formed in part or in whole through domestic or international adoption, Forever Families Weekend will bring you together with other families like yours to share experiences, learn from experts and each other, and enjoy each other’s company.
Our staff of adoption professionals are also Jewish parents by adoption – so they understand the unique perspective of the Jewish adoptive family. Parents will have the option to participate in workshops such as Children’s Books and Stories of Adoption, Identity Issues in B’Nai Mitzvah Preparation, and Conspicuous Adoption, while their children participate in age appropriate activities such as “TiP-ToP SHAPE workshops” or “Teen Adoptees Advocating for Adoption.”
At the lake, pool, athletic fields, or by the bonfire, families will participate in team building activities or just enjoy a relaxing weekend of summer camp excitement. From young children through teenagers to parents, each group will have opportunities for sharing, having fun, and making meaningful connections.
cost: $275 per adult. All children 18 years old or younger are FREE

Jewish adoptive families of all "shapes and sizes" are welcome! Kosher dietary laws are observed.
